By now, you've heard about the camping-trip-gone-awry. When Tim & Elizabeth's car broke down, we had to stay in a cheap motel in northern Michigan:

• It was a dark and stormy night.¹
• Afraid of being stuck out on the moors at night, we were hoping that someone would offer us lodging.²

Fast-forwarding to after the proposal:
